And the beat goes on!
(This is where the colors start getting super-fun.) Oh, and P.S. If you see little black squigly-lines on any of the photos, ignore them. Apparently, you shouldn’t place your lightbox on a particularly shed-prone black carpet. Fun fact. Pro-tip.
Constant Candy (#135) is a creme shade that borders on pearlescent-pink. Another very natural shade that would work on any skintone – especially as a base for a French manicure.
Pink-finity (#140) – okay, do NOT let the color in the bottle fool you! In the bottle, Pink-finity reads as a normal, neutral, almost “blah” pink. Once you get two coats of this puppy on, it is the PERFECT shade of bubblegum/Barbie pink. Completely opaque in two coats of PERFECTION.
Lav-endure (#145) is one of the cooler shades I’ve seen in a while. Toned more blue than gray, this light purple shade is light enough to still be neutral, but colorful enough to not be Boring As All Hell™. Again, this one is opaque in two coats.
Megawatt Mauve (#150) is another one of those “Doesn’t look the same on the nail as it does in the bottle” colors. In the bottle, the color is almost a dirty, dusty pink tone. On the nail, it reads more coral. Plus, don’t quote me on this, but it might even have a slight pinky-gold duochrome with it.
Peek a boo Pink (#155) is just ADORBS. A slightly sheer pink, you’d most likely need three coats of this to be completely opaque (two coats were swatched here). The slight shimmer is just enough for that lil’ something extra, but not so crazy that it makes you look like a Toddlers & Tiaras frontrunner…unless you’re into that kind of thing…which I totally am.
What are your favorites so far?? Are you enjoying these swatches? I hope so, kiddies, because I have about 40 more to post over the next few weeks!
Don’t think I’m creepy. I’m sick in bed and reading most of your blog posts from new to old. You’re just so entertaining! Plus, you have an obsession with makeup that warms the heart. 🙂
